Total:$1329.71 shipped before MIR and $1304.71 after MIR and 50$ off on 2500k purchases from MC so $1254.71 after all the MIR and discounts thumb.gif

you have many things better in the above suggested rig like
  • better GPU Adds support for PCI-Express 3.0 and DirectX 11.1 and is a great overclocker too biggrin.gif outperforms the GTx 570 and performs at Par the GTX 580
  • PSU Five year warranty,Fully modular design, can handle a 7870 CF i guess
  • monitor Response Time : 2ms, Contrast Ratio of 10,000,000:1, LED, DVi,HDMi,VGA inputs
  • M4 SSD i have nothing to say about it the you must already be knowing about its performance redface.gif have a look HERE i did not get a 64GB vs 64GB comparison but a 128GB will be the same
  • better motherboard with PCIe 3.0 CF/Sli support and a lot better overclocker
  • better HSF tough its not Watercooled but has a good VFM wink.gif
  • case the HAF 912 is a better airflow and looks a little better rolleyes.gif
  • the keyboard is a epic i need not say any thing i guess for its price you can not beat it in my suggestion the Sidewinder X4 has a great VFM thumb.gif
and another thing if you stick with your config which you stated above then i would just say that change your GPU to GTX 560 Ti 448 which has a better VFM the the GTX 570 and its performance is almost and sometimes better then the GTX 570 wink.gif
Hope you like it smile.gif

*EDIT*
If you really want a liquid cooling HSF then for around the same price you can get
Antec KUHLER H2O 620 67$
or
cheaper option Corsair H60 56$
and if you dont mind spending 10$ extra on the HSF then get a Sliver Arrow @ 70$ biggrin.gif

So these are the parts that I am going to purchase. What do you guys think?
For the motherboard and CPU I found a micro center deal that will allow me to purchase them for 250 instead of $320.

looks good already you may want to add a little for the asrock z68 extreme 3 gen 3 for future sli/xfire of videocard, since you have a xfire/sli capable power supply, if not interested then the build is ok

Thread Starter
Thanks for you help everyone! I was also wondering if anyone knew of any ways to get a cheaper version of Windows 7 home premium. I can't seem to find a student discount and the cheapest I've been able to find is $185 on Amazon. There were cheaper ones, but I don't know if any of those sellers or sites were legitimate.

Edit//
Yeah it's ~$1100 total for the whole rig including keyboard and monitor. So your previous build was more within my price range. Sorry I wasn't more clear! Also I realized there was a windows section so I will move there for the windows discussion. Sorry again sadsmiley.gif

Is it just me or is there ther virtually no intell mobo that offer x16 X x16 crossfire or sli. Meanwhile you can save an extreme amount of money buying a amd rig ang have far superior graphics? Honestly want to know. Not to hijack thread or offend anybody. Was looking into a new intel build and realized that a dual x16 crossfire or sli system was nearly nonexistent.
