[Build Log] TJ11 Build - First WC (Warning - Pics)

Thread Starter
Hey Guys,

I have finally gotten enough money together to finance my new build, and my first Watercooling setup biggrin.gif
It will be the rig in my sig, with only one change, Im getting rid of my 600T and bought a TJ11.

Watercooling, I will be cooling both graphic cards and the cpu, as well as my very hot running VRM and Chipset on the Motherboard
(and to those of you saying watercooling the mobo is a waste of money, I say screw that, my VRMs are getting 90+ when Im overclocking...)

So, parts.
The Rig just quick:
Intel 3930k Stock right now
Asus Sabertooth x79
Corsair Vengeance 4x4GB 1600MHz
2 MSI Lightning Extremes
Corsair AX1200
And the TJ11

CPU - Koolance CPU-370
Motherboard - Koolance Asus Sabertooth x79 set
Graphics - Bitspower MSI Lightning block stainless steel with acrylic top wheee.gifwheee.gif
( massive thanks to Ulver for telling OCN about these blocks thumb.gif never would have found them my self )
Pump - VPP655 With D5 HF top
Res - EK-Bay Spin Res
Rad 1 - XSPC RX480
Rad 2 - XSPC EX120
Fittings - Loads and Loads of compression fittings
Fittings - Some 90 degree fittings
Tubing - Masterkleer 3/8 ID and 5/8 OD Clear
Fans - 5 Gentle Typhoons 1850 RPM ( ofc tongue.gif )
FanController - Phobya FanMax
Fluid - Mayhems Pure H20 With some UV Green, also from Mayhems, and with a Biocide also from Mayhem

So, as of now I have all the Waterblocks, the TJ11 and the Mayhems stuff. I am hoping to get the rest Friday, so I can get it build this weekend.

I will get some pictures up of the parts I already have and my old rig just for the sake of it.
I hope you will like it biggrin.gif

At least you didn't skimp on any parts, good use of money and patience IMO smile.gif That GPU is going to really benefit from some nice water cooling, and I completely dig the case; expensive but money well spent GO BIG OR GO HOME.

Thought I would post some pics of the Waterblocks for the graphics.

400
Two of these arrived yesterday. Extremely well packed and not a scratch in shipping.

400
The top is all stainless steel, and completely blanck, they are so nice biggrin.gif

400
They told me at Bitspower that they should fit the Extreme, but if they dont, I have some pretty nice paper weigths, at 2,5kg tongue.gif

Also got a drivebay-converter so I can use the many drivebays for my HDDs and SSD biggrin.gif
448

448
I dont know whether I will keep the fan on, since I would like to keep as much of the front clean as I can, but I will decide that later.

Thanks for the replies, I will probably not get many things done untill the rest of the stuff gets here, but I might post some pics or two tongue.gif

Well thats it for today, SLEEP biggrin.gif

Sry for the late update :/
Forgot about the time, and had to study for an exam thingy today..

Well, time for an update biggrin.gif

400
A big box arrived biggrin.gif

400
I started to disassemble my old rig

400
The Sabertooth really is a nice board in my eyes smile.gif

400
I have replaced the coolers on the board with the koolance kit. I think it looks great biggrin.gif

400
All things installed on the MoBo, and the mobo installed on the Tray outside of the case.

Up next, taking apart the MSI Lightning Extremes
