Back to the IndexShipment 3:
The bulk of my watercooling parts have arrived and I now have everything
I need besides the GPU block, GPU backplate (which I might create myself) and the sleeving materials. If you DO NOT like pictures, don't continue reading (or viewing) but I think pictures say a thousand words and really show what I am doing.
So let's jump straight into it:Shot(s) of the Day:Overview (Click to show)
Radiator and Radiator-Grill (Click to show)
The box, it's so large (lol)
and here is all the stuff in the box:
from left to right: tubing (white & transparent), LED strips (2 x Purple, 1 x White), Phobya Balancer 150 Gold Plated, Mayhems X1 (1 x Pink, 1 x Purple, 1 x Clear), Akansa TIM cleaner, MX-4, XSPC RX480, Phobya 480 Bricky Radiator Grill, Loads of Golden Fittings.

Fittings (Click to show)
Now to the heart of this shipment, the radiator. It did come in a very simple box, no need to show you guys a picture, and then the rad is in bubble wrap (again, no need for a picture). Accessories are limited to:
16 x long screws (30mm long) and 4 x short screws (the short ones are 6mm long); they are all M3 standard.
Warning notice which might be good to pass along:
Its full glory of 4 x 120mm radiator space. Pooooowwwwaaaaa is all I can say. Talking of quality it is simply amazing. It is not THAT heavy but feels solid, sadly a couple of the fins are slightly bent but nothing major. Now just imagine this sexy beast with some golden compression fittings
Now might be a good time to show the (cheap) radiator grill from Phobya.
I also made a quick set-up of the radiator, the four AP15s and the rad grill (which will be what one will see at the top of the case, more or less). It is AMAZINGLY looking.
and a close up:
Golden Reservoir (Click to show)
10 x Straight angle compression fittings in gold (Phobya brand I think):
6 x 90° Compression Fittings (again in gold and from Phobya):
6 x 45° G1/4" adapters, I don't know what the actual name for them is but I'm sure you get the point. Again in gold and from Phobya:
Last but not least a whole lot of G1/4" caps. And you guessed it in gold from Phobya:
You guys wanna see them all together, well okay
Phobya Balancer 150 (meaning it holds 150ml) Gold Plated:
Tubing (Click to show)
A small but elegant reservoir in a crappy (Phobya-style box):
Inside the box:
mounting material, silver caps (3 x) and loads of padding:
The reservoir itself, slightly shiny, not quite as shiny as the CPU block but still pretty sharp:
Mayhems X1 Coolant (Click to show)
4m of White and 4m of Clear Tubing. Both 1/2" ID (inner diameter):
Mayhems X1 Coolant:
Miscellaneous (Click to show)
Three bottles, all in zip-lock bags (from left to right: pink, purple and clear):
Some leakage happened, which is exactly why the bottles are in plastic bags:
attention to detail by Mayhems, even the rubber bands which held the filling tubes are the same colour as the coolant:
The coolant itself (in pretty little glasses):
Akansa TIM cleaner and Artic MX-4 TIM:
nuff said:Phobya 60cm LED strips:
2 x UV Purple and 1 x White LED strips (again I fail to ignore the not so good-looking packaging, Phobya has a nice logo but their packaging isn't up there in elegance):
So yeah, now that I have almost everything I need for my build I can get modding. Stay tuned for more.
Moddin' 4 life,
