How is Steam hogging bandwidth? Yes, you download massive games, but I purchased the game, so I need to download it in order to play it whereas someone who pirates media 24/7 is breaking the law and using more bandwidth because they upload and download at the same time, and that imo, Is bandwidth hogging. I have a legitimate, legal reason to use that internet to download my game.
I don't want to come off as a jerk, but I understand where you're coming from, but i also believe its also the isp's fault too. All their complaining about how hard it is for them to keep up with the demand while other countries can push more data then us
