Skyrim suddenly acting weird, need some help

Hey,

I just recently loaded up skyrim again, after having a time off from playing it. And from when I started the game I've been having trouble with it.
Don't know how to explain it, so I'll just post a picture of what happens.

My PC is as it shows in the sig, with a HD5830 gpu. (Thinking about it makes me cry)

Hope someone got any ideas as to what I can try out to fix this! smile.gif

Try verifying the cache integrity through the Steam console.

This. If that doesn't work, trying alternately enabling and disabling any texture mods you might be using; maybe there's a conflict somewhere?

Tried that right before I launched the game. I don't have any mods installed either.

Haven't done anything except installing the game and verifying the cache integrity before playing it.

Here is another screenshot:

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it?

Was hoping I didn't have to, as I just intstalled it again.
But if there's nothing else to try I suppose I could do it.

This is happening to me all of a sudden. My game has been running perfectly for months and the other day I got a couple freezes, but didn't really think anything of it. Last night it kept freezing and it happened about 6 times in a row, so I just stopped playing. Today I updated my AMD Catalyst and when I went to play there were boxes missing. EXACTLY like this guys pictures.

I had steam verify my game file integrity and they said it was fine. Anything else I can do?

Think it is the drivers then, I just recently installed the new drivers myself. And it didn't happen before. frown.gif
