Hey so....

I'm new to PC building ect and am currently in the process of buying parts (i7 3820 Sandybridge CPU, Palit GeForce GTX 560ti Sonic, 16 Gig Corasir Vengeance 1600mhz DDR3 RAM, Corsair HP100 Water Cooling kit (4 fans push pull set up) 120Gb Corsair SSD Card with 2 x Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB HDD's set up in RAID0, Corsair 850W PSU) Aaaannndddd I guess the question I'm really wanting answering, if anyone would care to be so kind... Is which of the Motherboards above would be better? The Rampage IV Extreme is a little pricey - Those 2 seem very similar spec wise but The Sabertooth is up to £100 cheaper... Is there a reason for this performance wise?

Cheers : )

I don't think you'll find much difference performance wise, found one review you might find useful http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=833&Itemid=69
I own a X79 Sabertooth, I chose this one instead of the p9x79 deluxe for it's TuF components, I recently had a p6x58d-e fail me with little over a year so I wanted a series known for it's reliability (here in Brazil, all I can get is a 12 month warranty from the vendor, other than that it's a pain to get the board over to ASUS).
The differences on these boards are the features they provide, the P9X79 Deluxe looks like an awesome board, it has blue tooth, 2 LAN ports, 3x PCI-e 3.0, and some other stuff you might find useful, check the asus website and use the compare feature to see them listed side by side.

All I can really say is that I'm loving the x79 Sabertooth, it looks awesome, overclocks wonderfully (4.5 ghz on 1,288v - 4.6 ghz on 1,312v) and it's a rock solid build.
I really think you can't go wrong with either.
