I'll give my 2cents. Inside is best, Outside top is not bad, outside back is damn near the ugliest thing I've ever seen people do to computers.
It's a computer

I prefer inside but it's more for the clean look and less space used. I find my 800D big enough already. But if I had some compact case to cool and had the space to put an external rad then sure. But only with a MORA. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12294/ex-rad-197/Watercool_MO-RA3_4_x_180mm_PRO_Extreme_Radiator_-_Black_Powder_Coat_22030.html?tl=g30c95s667

If it were me, I would have centered the radiator to the case, and used 90 degree fittings to loop it back into the case without hitting it.
Nonetheless looks good and clean!
