To those bitter about how nvidia are labeling this as their high end in order to milk consumers, what makes you even think GK110 is even close to being ready? What makes you sure they can get it out before HD8000? For all intents and purposes this is the highest end 28nm GPU they're able to get out the door in a reasonable time frame. They're already late.

Not to mention trying to churn out huge monolithic dies on brand new processes has bitten them in the ass previously. GK100 already tanked as well. I'd like to see nvidia do this with process shrinks in the future, except next time try and get it out the door earlier.

Hoozah!

Looks believable.
I've got to say, if there isn't much more OC headroom, I see a performance match between it and an overclocked 7970.
AMD must be regretting keeping the stock clocks so low.

Are you kidding? IHS is the worst thing ever for a GPU. It's the #1 reason probably why there are so RMA's for Nvidia chips. No IHS is probably one of the smartest decisions that Nvidia could have done. Thank goodness and I hope they listened to all the reasons why in my IHS removal guide why its so bad. I'm gonna love no IHS!

My old 8800GT had no IHS, i didnt say they are good, Im just saying it looks old fashioned considering they used them on all the 4 and 5 series cards, but didnt on the older 8000 cards

Stacked DVI ports... stacked power connectors... forget about cramming 7 of this in a single EVGA SR-2 mobo for crazy folding power.
