Which of these mice? - Page 2

out of those, the G700, m60, m90, and Kova pure all get my vote... im personaly not a fan of G9x or G500 (just dont like the way the feel)... i love the m90 as i find it very comfortable (i have a big arch in my hand) and i love all the buttons for programming, designing, and other programs with lots of macros... the kova and m60 are just all around good mice imo, and the G700 is extremely comfortable (though its not the best for gaming, and doesnt have the extremely long life some wireless mice have

hi

Thanks for the input. rep+ You had any problems with the M90 ive read a few bad reviews on it..

when i linked the page i thought it would be the same page i looked at(only that page).

So ive narrowed it down to the corsair m90 £56, storm zero g £42, G700 £57. kova+ £40

I like the look of r.a.t.7 white edition £59,would go well with my corsair graphite se case but seen some bad reviews of the r.a.t..s in general.

Im pulling the trigger on one of these either tonight or tomoro morning.

thanks again

The MX-518/ (G400 is an updated version and certain model numbers have "Angle Snapping") and it's a great light-weight mouse that can really take a beating (I will admit to raging on the mouse several times). The plastic surface does get a bit grimy (apparently not so with the G400) and the rubber sides can and do wear down. It needs Setpoint open as it doesn't have on-board memory to save settings.
The G500 is a good performing laser mouse and is customizable and has memory to save your settings. The wire is braided and can kink up/ retain bends. The weight of the mouse is also heavy, even without the weights. The scroll wheel has a button underneath to control the scroll settings but using the wheel as a middle click... it's not exactly optimal (I usually assign the third thumb button as middle click for stuff like BF3 and MW 2/3, BlackOPs). The feet can wear down pretty quick if used quite a bit. The sensor has some slight acceleration and shuts off at a pretty low lift height. Some G500s have a slight whine to them that may or may not be audible (mine is when the room is quiet and I'm slouching near the mouse).
For an all-rounder, the G500 is really nice as the free-scroll and sidescroll come in handy. The clicks are good and positive and the DPI buttons are in, to me, an optimal location. After the feet wore down (due to the darn hard eXactMat combined with cheapish feet) the gaming duties have gone over to my MX-518 and now CM Spawn. Still have mixed feelings about middle click. I can assign it to the third thumb button, but then again I could probably map it for something else, yet the free scroll is so useful. *Beware, the sensor is not at the center of the mouse if you are picky with such things.*
You can get after market skates for the G500 but in my case shipping to the US is as much as the skates themselves and I would prefer to buy such things locally, unfortunately they are not available locally.

thanks for the input..rep+
