Which 7970 should i get?

Hey guys i am stewing on which 7970 i should get? I already have a Sapphire 7970 reference card but am wondering if its the best option?

Really im torn between using my return option and getting something like a XFX DD Black Edition, a Sapphire OC with twin fan cooler, or something like that with a better cooler is the idea.

I am intending on doing a crossfire or possibly tri-fire setup here soon so what is the best 7970 to get, or is the sapphire i have the best option?

Lastly, i am sure the 7970 is worth the extra cash compared to the 7950 right?

Thanks a million for whatever info is provided.

Firstly yes the 7970 is worth the extra cash. If you are going to go high end you might as well go all out.

If you are not going to do an Eyefinity setup I think the Sapphire OC edition is a no brainer. It is a great price and has one of the best coolers on the market. If you are going to go Eyefinity then wait for the MSI Lightning because it has 4 DP ports. This means you can hook all 3 displays up to the same port type and not get screen tearing.

Keep the card you've got, it's no better or worse than anything else right now since they're all the same cards. I would entertain the swap if you had a Powercolor, but you don't so no point in it.

They haven't announced the release date yet, but they have announced that it is soon.
