when I first finished my build with the stock HSF my CPU was running 55-60c under load around 30c idle, I wasn't comfortable with that so I installed a Cooler Master V8, now have 12c idle and 43c after 30 min of Prime95.

same cooler im useing, im sure its not the best but dropped temps alot compared to stock thumb.gif

I vote that the OP, put on too much TIM, i would try remounting with the Smiley method. biggrin.gif
