Anti-Glare Is something i love. Even in my Phone i have a Anti-Glare Screen Protector. Glossy Screen do look better but once you start using it it get old fast and its so reflective to light.

I would not spend a grand on the u2711 per se, but if you can find it like me on the Dell Outlet site for $719 its worth it. I believe the monitor is pretty good and the color reproduction is amazing, but the power to drive something like this at acceptable frame rates is pretty big. Same with any other high resolution IPS for that matter. Input lag for me only gets slightly better with higher FPS (i.e CS:S). Up to you buddy. I have not tried the counterpart zr2740w or the zr30w (supposedly less input lag due to no built in scaler/OSD) but I have no idea how much difference it makes in terms of input lag.

I am thinking of either doing the HP, or possibly a 27" 120hz monitor. I dunno, maybe I should just keep what I have.

120hz Monitors are fine, especially those glossy Samsungs as they have some really nice deep colors. You can always choose one of those monitors (HP, DELL, Samsung) try them out see how you feel, and return them if not happy. But most of the time, you will be astounding by the sheer upgrade. thumb.gif

I want I want I want drool.gif My 27 inch Asus monitor has been great, but I wanna step up to the next level with a ultra high res monitor such as this, or even the U3011. Although, at $1200-$1500 for the U3011, I don't think I could push myself to purchase a monitor for that much blinksmiley.gif

Just ordered one for myself this morning. Quite excited to see if it's worth the ~$724. smile.gif
I considered getting a Catleap at first, but decided that it wasn't worth the gamble.

Can you post a video or some photos of you using the U2711? Not for gaming though, because that's always done. But everyday activities is what I'm curious about, like how does viewing videos on YouTube or Netflix look? When you go to full screen mode, since the video is only 1080p, does it stretch to fill the whole screen? And if it does, is it distorted in anyway? Thanks for any info thumb.gif
