[TPU] GTX 680 Generally Faster Than HD 7970: New Benchmarks - Page 8

AMD fans have to accept that the GTX680 is the faster card by around ~15% on average and will possibly overclock better.

Nvidia fans while having bragging rights have to accept that they're jackasses for believing Nvidia's hype of 25-40% faster.

Drivers
PhysX support
CUDA support for developers
Die size
AKA every conceivable measurable factor we know of.
C) 10 weeks is absolutely nothing in the market. No one cares but die-hard AMD fans that the Radeon 7970 came that little bit earlier.
What were you saying again? Most of us go with whatever is the best card when we're buying/about to buy, and in this market it is a clear-cut thing that the GTX 680 is the winner unless you're just buying for the brand name of "AMD".

Mate, 10 weeks now, 11 weeks when the reviews are released, 12 weeks when its actually available on the market. thats 3 months -.-.
Also it doesnt beat AMD on price, they are both released at 549...

OCN in a nutshell

"These tests favor Nvidia cards and that's why they have a better performance than the ATI counterpart"

and then

"These tests favor ATI cards and that's why they have a better performance than the Nvidia counterpart"

It's impossible for a card to be better than another on OCN.

Ah and the battle continues... Even though no one knows for sure what these can do. Maybe because it hasn't come out yet?

Yeah, it wins occasionally and gets beaten 99% of the time... Clearly it still holds the crown!

Sorry, at least buying AMD means that my GPU isn't going to die on me within any reasonable frame of time.
