best motherboard for under 150$ - Page 2

For motherboard..I'd recommend 1)Sabertooth 990fx
2)M4a89gtd-pro
3)TA990FXE
4)M4n98td-evo
erm..out of those..the 98td-evo doesn't support FX chips..should you choose to get one in the future.
For the time being..I'd recommend a 960T Zosma or 1090T

There are NO good boards available in mATX for AMD..especially not for a 6-core

im seeing that some of those processors are 95W chips, compared to others that use up 125W. Does that make a difference as far as power goes? i know power consumption its a plus, but what about in other areas?

thanks for the advice on the 960T Zosma. I looked it up on newegg, they have it for 125$. it fits my budget perfectly, and the added bonus to be able to unlock all 6 cores is pretty awesome too.

if you considering intel itd be recommended if your budget allows you. the 2500k is best bang for buck now and you can pick up a z77 for fairly cheap which should keep you future proof for a lil when u decided to upgrade the cpu to an ivy bridge a year or two down the road.
