Have you tried reinstalling it?

Is that the downloaded updated version or the one that comes with the mobo?
I had issues with the downloaded one, reinstalled the original one and it was all good.

edit: Also, do you have Q-fan turned on in your bios?

Well the retail version screwed up so I figured I'd try to update via online, same issue. I have q control enabled for everything beside my vrm fan. I run that maxed all the time.

I only have 1 case fan plugged in via the CPU header on the board my rear fan cuz it won't boot with my fan controller on that header for some reason.

So I have 3 total fans 2 are chipset/integrated on the mobo a rear case fan so I can boot.

I'd try and leave all controls on the board turned on... If the thermal radar works, there is no reason to leave any fans on full throttle, that's the great thing about the thermal radar on the sabertooth, the realtime response is amazing.
Also, uninstall and go with the retail version again, if it doesn't work, not really sure what could be the issue, maybe try running a clean install of windows 7 on another hdd just to check if it will work,

Well I figured it out, asusfancontorolsevice.exe never correctly installed. I had To manually install it. For some reason it did not automatically install with the asus AI suite. It now works normally.

i got the same issue out of nowhere after 2 weeks of working normally. But it was easy fix. I uninstall the AI suite software and remove the 3 services in the registry. restart the computer and re-install. thumb.gif

I'm having the exact same problem on my Sabertooth Z77. Thermal Radar worked perfectly for about a month and now I get that same error message as wutang61 anytime I click on the Thermal Radar button. Everything else still works fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AI Suite II several times, but the problem remains.

Charlievoviii, how did you remove the 3 services in the registry? I disabled them in msconfig, but that didn't help.
Thanks.

Hi Squeeken,

I just fixed my issue after visiting another website and remembered seeing this thread and your post! I thought that I would share what I found.

(Please note that the page is in german so you will have to use google to translate it):
http://www.go-windows.de/forum/windows-7/ai-suite-ii-von-asus/

Look for the post made by "Henning W" on the bottom of the first page and he lists a bunch of steps. This is the only thing I have found that has actually worked.

Hope this helps,
Kris
