HIS have released their AMD Radeon HD 7970 IceQ X² and HD 7950 IceQ graphics cards. Coming in with a reference clock version and an overclocked 'Turbo' version.

The HD 7970 IceQ X² uses HIS's latest IceQ X² cooler which features dual fans over a dense heatsink array which has 3x 6mm and 2x 8mm nickel plated heatpipes helping to keep the GPU cool. The Turbo version is pre-overclocked to 1050MHz on the Core and 5.60GHz memory.

Wow, that fist cooler looks sleek. I wish it had a black PCB though.

The first picture almost makes it look like a single-slot card. Got a little excited at first, then realized it would never happen.

HIS has made some of my favorite cards over the years. I like the design. If i was in the market for a new VGA I would pick one up.

These new 7970's with more advanced cooling might be competition for the new 680. We'll have to wait and see some real benchmarks from the 680.
