This is kind of confusing.

What kind of fake did you buy? We only have FPS1 and 2.

I know. It's confusing. I wonder if there is a fix for it. I wish there was a way to factory default it.

Yeah right as I posted that I decided to do that.

Worked.

I am using PC Monitors settings now. Glad I got that cleared up. thumb.gif

I think they had some settings disabled when they were using it at that CS event before being sold as a refurb. We will have to keep this in mind for anyone else here that may have the same issue.

Hi, new poster here, and new owner of a xl2420tx.

I have a few questions.

Does anyone get stuck in 3D mode?
How does one install the drivers for this monitor, the CD has no install thing.

Thanks!

Use the Windows driver installer and point it to the CD.

Just pulled the trigger on a xl2420t last night. Really hoping I'll finally get a 120hz I'm happy with. Went through two aw2310s and wasn't happy due to backlight bleed and slow response time (unless you're in game mode, but then you have ****ty colors). Went through four xl2410s trying to get one that didn't have an absurdly awful panel uniformity. Also tried the original 120hz Acer (forgot the name - the orange one) and it was a joke with its horrible backlight bleed, input lag, and panel uniformity. Fingers crossed :x

Not to spam both threads but I got my 3D Vision 2s in the mail today! smile.gif Expect yours soon if you bought the monitor and expected the Vision2s but got Vision1s and you've complained biggrin.gif

So far they're much more comfortable since it actually covers all of my eyes not to mention I wear glasses.

takes my 3D experience to a level up!

Got my xl2420t this morning and loving it so far. Definitely the best out all the 120hz's I've tried (aw2310, xl2410t, gd235hz). Color's aren't too shabby once calibrated and the panel uniformity is leagues better than on the xl2410t, which was my main complaint about that monitor. My only concern is when on a full black screen in a dark room, mine doesn't seem as dark as pics showed it being on review sites - this is with brightness set to 5. It's not really backlight bleed or anything, just doesn't seem as black as it should be. It's probably nothing and just my brain trying to find something wrong with the monitor.

is anyone on a gtx 680? i'm having smooth playback issues. i'm wondering if it's the new drivers (i'm connected through dvi-d though). any video i play seems to jitter or 'judder' as they call it in the htpc world. any thoughts?
