BenQ XL2410/11/20 Club - Page 18

Since this is an expensive monitor with some special specifications, people are more likely to have researched their purchase. They've decided to compromise on image quality to get speed and such. Thus it is less likely that people regret their purchase.
I don't recall anyone specifically saying they hate it. AFAIR most people who have been nervous about bad color reproduction and other downsides of TN panels, especially fast ones, have been pleasantly surprised including myself. There has been some discussion about the OSD options both with the XL2410 and the XL2420, lots of annoying limits made by BenQ that don't belong in a $500 product, but these aren't major complaints.

I love mine. BF3 at 120 with vsync off and ZERO tearing? Amazing!!

Just curious, say if I wanted to get 3D sometime down the line after I get some 680s or a 690 what all would I need? A 3D emitter and some glasses? I'm guessing you can buy those bundled?

Yeah you can just buy the 3d vision kit. It has both emitter and glasses. I rather enjoy a lot of games in 3d!!!

I just purchased the TX version of this monitor. My 12 year old Hitachi Superscan 813 monitor is dying on me. BenQ tech support tells me that this new monitor will work on my computer with Windows XP and my Geforce 6800GT video card. Am I correct in understanding that all I have to do is hook up the new monitor with a DVI-D cable to my video card and turn on my computer, then go into the video display settings and click on update to a new video driver and select the correct montor folder from the supplied CD? Should I cancel the windows detects new hardware popup?

Thanks for the help and see you out there,

You can just use the detect new hardware popup. I believe that has the option to manually choose a driver location.

Is that a Mac keyboard and mouse?

What is that long mouse pad? Is it a mouse pad?
It's an Apple G4 keyboard and the mouse is a Zowie Ec2 White. The long mouse pad is the Xtrac Ripper XXL , and I have the Zowie G-RF mouse pad on top. I'm actually about to order a new mechanical keyboard. I just used the apple keyboard to match my mouse....

Checkout a DASKeyboard. I have two of them. One for home and one for work! I love them both.
