BenQ XL2410/11/20 Club - Page 27

My XL2420T was delivered yesterday. I bought this to replace a 27" panel in our living room "office". Basically my wife does transcribing from home and she needed the panel straight away to do some work. I finally got round to trying out the monitor this morning. I currently have a 580 and it did a pretty good job of giving me 100+ FPS in Skyrim and BF3 (I play BF3 on medium). Left 4 Dead 2 was spanked at a constant 120FPS. Last night I was thinking about sending this back as it really is a luxury. I game in my living room only occasionally preferring my office with my 2560x1440 IPS panel. However having had a quick play this morning I think I will keep it, even if it does only get used to its potential a couple of times a week. I have still yet to try out Starcraft 2 which is supposed to be nice in 120Hz. I'll also get some 3D Vision 3 glasses eventually to see what thats all about.

Just purchased a 2410T today.

First 120hz monitor, i think the difference is amazing and this is a really nice monitor to boot.

New monitor works fine! Same batch as serial number is very close but after 3 long period where I did not use the monitor then tested it, the emitter was working.

Glad this is sorted out!

Man I am still on the fence about grabbing one frown.gif I want 120Hz but I also would like decent colors to. I currently have a Samsung 226BW. I keep seeing people say that even after calibrating they still look washed out or colors just don't look right.

What?! You mean you had to RMA your old monitor? frown.gif

When did you buy your old monitor from BenQ?

I spent more than fifteen hours calibrating my XL2420T and in the end the colors were still washed out so I sent it back. Will be staying with my Samsung TN in the meantime. ..

Newegg tends to deactivate items that are out of stock that they don't expect to get stock of for a while.
