Why is it so hard to turn the monitor ON by pressing the power button? I have to tap it multiple times before it turns ON or OFF.

I find it to be difficult to turn on/off as well, I actualy tought the monitor was broken when I first got it.

I haven't had problems turning the monitor on and off at all...

That is for the XL2420T. The drivers for the XL2420TX are different.

I noticed that while the monitor is turned off and I placed my finger NEAR the power button (for about 5 seconds) it lights up but I cannot turn it on. But when I immediately press the power button it powers on without any problem (I let it lit up for around 2 seconds only).

I have problem to turn it on/off too.
The "touch button" are very low response, I have to place my finger on it for more 3 seconds to get it works.
Sometimes not work at all. I use the S switch instead ...

Update: Currently testing different color tweaking.
TFT Central (with icc profile), PC Monitors.org & BF3 game mode from BenQ.
Highly recommend to try those out for new buyer.

No worries. So are the drivers included in the CD already the latest ones?

By the way, please add me to this club, XL2420TX owner here smile.gif

Seems that many have confirmed regarding the turn on/off issue frown.gif

As I've said, I'm a first-time buyer of a monitor. What do I need to do to make my monitor show the most optimal picture? What settings do I need to adjust and what tools (if any) do I need to use?

If I use the upstream and downstream USB ports of the monitor, can they support USB3?

What is the use of the nose piece provided with the 3D glasses of NVIDIA?

I personally never turn it off, it goes into sleep itself when I shut down the computer or put the computer into sleep. Monitor use less than 0.5W when in power saving.

But if I try to push the power button with the tip of my finger, it's not working well, I have better succes deposing my thumb on it. Try this?

Add me to the XL2420T owners club! Although I had to RMA it (Newegg) because the entire upper left section was pinkish colored. Left it on all weekend and just got a little worse - Newegg paid for return shipping. Hopefully the new one is better!

LOL! My 8800GTS 512 do it. I haven't tried Skyrim and would probably have to turn down a few settings but I play Diablo 3 max settings no problem.

I had read some opinion and i`m confused now smile.gif . But you tell from your own experience and i trust you . You have the " T " model and play with glasses and separated emitter or how ?
