Cool, I'll shoot them an email.

For how much? Maybe you ordered the monitor with the v1 glasses priced at $479 ? Because for some time, they've posted 2 versions of the XL2420TX, one with the v1 glasses (discounted $20) and one with the v2 glasses (priced at $499).

Na I saw that after I ordered mine.. I got it for 499.00 and the product page showed it to come with 3dvision 2 glasses... apparently it was a mix up and they packaged them with version 1 glasses.

Is there any real reason to go with the 2420 over the 2410. I know where i can get a 2410 right now. Only issue is I can not get 3 of them for eyefinity so that would suck. If the 120hz is that much better than 60, then it may be worth it. I play BF3 a lot and I do very well with my monitors. If it will give me that much more of an edge that would be a bonus. If it also showed better colors after calibration than mine it would be awesome for photo editing since I hate IPS panels. everyone I have seen in person looks like crap. I have been hands on with a LaCie 24" $1500 monitor professionally calibrated and I hated it. May be great for print accuracy but not for every day viewing and gaming.

The 2420 supposedly has better colors and its overdrive function creates a less obvious artifact.

gotcha, well I may have to look for a good price on that one then. I found the 2410 for 379. I did a google search for the 2420 and i have never heard of any of the sellers that pop up in the google shopping area. I see some places like Shark systems selling them for under 400. No idea if they are legit or not.

Not sure how it would work running this monitor with 2 of my asus monitors in eyefinity. I think the fact that the asus cant run more than 60hz would screw it up.

Pay the extra and get the 2420. Im loving mine.. Colors are awesome and the display controller that comes with it is awesome.. I use button 1 for full brightness, button 2 is my calibrated setting, and button 3 if for BF3 smile.gif

http://shop.benq.us has them for $399 and $499 for Embedded 3Dvison emitter and glasses, Also keep in mind that the $499 XL2420TX allows you to hook up your ps3 and play 3d games over HDMI. the $399 XL2420T does not.

I just got my XL2420TX this weekend. They still haven't shipped it out yet but I'm thinking of canceling it and getting one of the Korean LCDs. They are much cheaper than the TX model. AHHH why is it so hard to pick... blah.

For those of you that got this panel, do you notice any flickering of the backlight @ low brightness levels?

This drove me nuts on the Samsung A950D's I tried.

FWIW, I've tested an Asus VG236H and has no flicker issues due to the CCFL backlight. Unfortunately, it's still glossy.
