1)I watched some 60 fps Modern warfare 3 streams from twitchtv it looks damn smooth ,but when I play mw3 it doesnt feel as smooth as that ? (My res 1920x1080 at 120 in game options and monitor)
2)In Battlefield 3 for example I play at ultra settings what if I set a lower setttings will it make my moves smoother in the game
I mean in any game higher fps will make it smoother for120 hz monitors ?
It will only become smoother until 120 FPS. There's no smoothness benefit above 120 FPS.

First question. What are your system specs? Remember watching a video is not as demanding as playing the game itself on the GPU.

What is your average FPS, I would think you would get smooth Framerates with that setup. You have the monitor set to 120hz in windows right?

In general. I'm curious about said monitor.

It sucks, the over drive is very poorly implemented so there will be tons of ghosting in the form of over shoot (bright & dark halo forming around moving objects). The reviews which confirms this are in Korean & German so I won't bother posting them. The BenQ XL241 & 20T also suffer from this but to a lesser degree. Pretty much all BenQ displays don't come with proper over drive and exhibit over shoot when the AMA (Over Drive) is enabled.
