What Gamma setting are most people using? I do have a spyder 4 pro that I will use to calibrate the Benq, but I first have to set a few things before it starts to do that. I like colors and brightness that pop. What Gamma setting would do that?
Most folks I believe use gamma setting 4. Hopefully my xl2420t will arrive tomorrow. Please add me to this club! I will post pic tomorrow smile.gif))

Hey BenQ XL2420T owners....I heard people say this monitor is severely limited to only gaming...they say for other uses, such as watching movies, desktop usage, etc....the colors and image quality is pretty bad....is this true? I'm looking to purchase this monitor but I'm scarred that it looks real bad, and the only real usage for it is gaming (fast 120hz)

Well I got mine up and running today. Couple of things. Game play BF3 at 120 FPS WOW that is amazing totally smooth as butter. You can really really feel the difference their no doubt. Mine came with no dead or stuck pixels but it does have some pretty good back light bleed on the bottom about the length of the bezel about 1/4 inch or so. Oh and someone mentioned that the power led was blue, not sure if I got a different model or not but mine is white not blue. Colors are OK. I calibrated it with my spyder 4 pro so its decent. View angles are so so but its a TN I know that its certainly not as bad as some TN panels I have seen. Now I have to decide weather to keep it or pick another monitor. I would have to send this one back anyway because of the back light bleed that really annoys me. Well I'm off to play some of the new maps in BF3....

Man I just hooked up my Dell U2412M and ran dual monitors. And well the Benq is awesome for gaming it really sucks for colors. Looking at them next to each other, it is night and day difference in terms of color. Yes I know the Dell is IPS and the Benq is TN. I think I may go back to the Dell. Its seems to me its the best of both worlds really. We'll see...
