Its seems to me its the best of both worlds really. We'll see...

so you feel the IPS outweighs the benefits of 120hz TN? not just for the colors, but the grand scheme of things?

I have the TX and its great the 120hz but the monitor just don't suck in terms of color against IPS monitors (of course it does).... It also sucks against other TN monitors! The colors on my work laptop that has TN screen has WAY better color than my TX monitor no matter that setting you use. I might sell it cause of this.

The TN panel on my laptop sucks compared to the BenQ so that's not an absolute truth. The IPS panel on my friend's Ultrabook is beautiful though.

Yes I feel that the benefits of IPS out weigh those of 120HZ. If you are a true hardcore gamer using your monitor for games 99.9% of the time then the Benq is for you. But if your like me and play games say 3-5 hours a week then you would be better served by a good all around IPS monitor. My Dell even uncalibrated looked 10 times better then the calibrated Benq. But like I said for games the Benq has no match its on top their no doubt..

perfect example!

I can live with minor backlight bleed....cuz most of the time I am not looking at full black screens....but for someone who is watching alot of movies, or playing alot of scary games....this might be an annoyance....but for me, should be no problem thumb.gif

Yes, or very dark colors.

Displayport has same input lags as DVI or same as HDMI?
What better for this display: DVI or displayport?
This display faster than asus VG278HE?
