The reason i don't have an XL2420T is because it's also present in that model as well. Just to a lesser extent but the Samsung 120Hz panels (all of them) and even the Asus ones at custom presets have better AMA settings and faster pixel response that the current BenQ 120Hz display even their new 144Hz XL2411t. It's something the company just cant get right for some reason.

The reason i don't own those is because they have poor stands with little to no adjustment for the height and angle of the monitor.

Yeah I didn't notice it came with one because I was confusing what a dual link dvi cable with a dvi i cable.

I bet you were like me at first, you were thinking that a dual link dvi cable has TWO physical cables, right? No, it only has one. What makes it dual link are the pins of the connector itself.

PM'd.

No no, I I was just wrong about the location of the pins on the dvi ports.

I just got my BenQ XL2420T monitor everything is set up perfectly, when I first plugged it in the colors were washed out. However after properly calibrated it looks amazing, very happy that I purchased this product.

What I was wondering was whats with that knob on the back of the monitor, whats it for?

Knob? Do you mean the hook that you use to hang the 3D glasses with pouch?

I believe it is actually a hook for your headphones. You could use it for anything though.
