Was wondering if anyone else noticed these on their monitor, or if I have a faulty monitor.

Sounds faulty.

I only got Gamer1, Gamer2, Gamer3, thats it... Dono why that is. Can anyone tell me how to get it?

It's connected with the DVI cable it came with.
Also; hen I look at pictures, or colors fading, lets say from light to dark, I see squared, not fluid transitions of the colors.

I hope anyone can help me.

Thanks.

I think you have to reset the monitor in menu > system > reset all.

Yes I did, but I still wont have the other Profiles in the OSD then... But the TFT Central's profiles make it a bit better already.

Does that work?

That's the problem mate, I don't have 'standard' mode... I only got 3 Gamer profiles, nothing else.

Thank you sir! This helped me get the other Picture modes!
But now I have the same issue, when I try to save the settings I like to a Game mode. 1, 2 or 3.
Then the other Picture modes disappear again and only the 3 Game modes are in the options.
Do I need to do a "Reset All" every time I want to see the other list of profiles?

EDIT: Fixed! The remote was buggy, it did not let me scroll sometimes, reason I could not scroll up to see the other profiles when it's on one of the 3 game modes. I plugged it in and out and now it's fine smile.gif

No problem, we've seen that happen before. I think there were some monitors earlier in the thread that had used for tournaments or demos and which were lacking the normal profiles.

Hi guys! I got my XL2420T this week and I'm having problems with the smoothness of the video playback. I was aware of the necessary colors adjustment, but I'm really struggling with the way 120hz is rendering video and games cinematics: They are choppy, camera movements stutters. I would compare it to a PAL movie that has been cheaply converted, you can sense that the movement isn't right. I'm testing a lot with Sleeping dogs. The cinematics don't seem pre-rendered: Very simple scenes are choppy, & as soon as they finish everything is a+. I though this monitor would be a lot less blurry, but the response IS very good.

The twist that let you use lightboost in 2D really doesn't seem worth it (since I don't have a receptor), and I don't think it would solve my issue.

I already switch to 60hz to watch movies and youtube videos, but the cinematics are a huge bummer: Really though to watch, I'll return the monitor if I can't improve...

Infos:
-XL2420T
-GTX 670
-DVI Dual-link supplied with monitor (3-4 pins had to be straightened, I will test with a new cable as soon as I can get one. I'm not hopefull since I think a broken cable would cause much more important problems)
-AMA ON or OFF, Instant mode ON or OFF, DDC/CI ON or OFF
-Latest drivers (08/2011)
-TFT Settings + ICC file as default + Messing around with Pc Monitor's setting (Think I like em the most)
-Nvidia (310.90): V-Sync On, Triple buff ON or OFF, Scaling off, 1920x1080 120hz, Digital Vibrance 55%, everything controlled by other application.

Does anybody have any suggestion?

I seem to have the same "choppy" problem while gaming.

not when moving the camera/mouse but when walking/running around.

For example in WOW when running, the ground at the bottom of the screen (so what moves fastest because its close to the camera, seems some kind of choppy. Sometimes even if u can see it get rendered in horizontal lines but mostly choppy.

FPS are Always high.

Can this be a setting a faulty screen?

Its also kinda flickering for me but thats probably because i have the brightness turned down so my eyes dont burn out

What do you mean, choppy? Do you have Vsync on?

Also, yes, the PWM flicker is supposed to be bad at really low brightness. I personally can't see it, but there was some talk about it potentially making people dizzy/annoyed IIRC.
