Yes i guess thats the PWM flicker, its kinda making me dizzy at times but i can handle that.

Regarding the choppyness, I have tried Vysnc off and on, also tried it with Adaptive Vsync.

First i thought it was some kind of tearing but with 200fps i am not really seeing it, around 120FPS then i can see it so tearing it cannot be because its 120hz monitor.

I dont seem to have it at 60hz.

It's also more there when the ground is more textured. With this issue, the monitor is smoother at 60hz then at 120hz. Not with panning camera or something, pure when running around and looking and groundtexture at the bottomside of the monitor. That really choppy at times, like with small pauses between it. While that is happening, middle screen and upperscreen seems to be smooth( i know WTH..) so it's not a problem with the GPU i guess.

This is at 100fps, at 120, fps, 130fps

200fps is no problem

I dont understand it.

Amen, never heard of such issues before buying the monitor... Maybe I was too demanding.

Yes its really weird. 120 fps @ 120hz should be smooth but that smoothness i get at like 150-200fps while u would say @120hz it would not matter because the panel cannot refresh more so either its running @200hz lol or there is some kind of weird problem

mines weird too, when I'm gaming I get 200 fps and it's really fluid, but if I enabled frame syncing, the frame rate drops to 40 and it screen tears horribly

Are you sure your FPS counters are accurate? For example, I know that some programs report double the real framerate in Max Payne 3.

Yea fps is correct
Mostly tried with games with ingame fps meters so i guess those are working correctly.
Im going to try to pivot mon around and flip screen if drivers let me because it seems only at the bottom. Probably bacause there textures move faster but can never know

Hey all! Quick question, and thanks in advance for your help. I am using at xl2420TX and I cant seem to access any of the display options ( they are all grayed out). I have poked around a lot on the internet and not been able to find any help . Also, When playing games on my ps3, they switch to 720p and it doesn't fill up the screen on my monitor (yes 1080p is enabled on PS3 and the home screen runs in 1080p). And finally (sorry for long post) I can NOT find the drivers anywhere online for this monitor. I had the CD but accidentally threw it away when cleaning my room, but the drivers on it were 'out dated' when i tried to install them.

Input would be greatly appreciated, this is all frustrating! (using DVI-D and HDMI inputs)

For the greyed out options. Make sure you are in Standard Mode.
Not sure about the PS3 720P thing but have you tried different games? Also I believe there is a Smart Scaling setting that you might have to turn on via the On screen Menu.
For the drivers I am not certain, I am not finding it anywhere either. You might have to contact Benq to get a link to download the drivers.

Standard mode? I have been through the menu backwards and forwards and find no 'standard mode' option. Could you expand on that for me? Thank you for your help btw smile.gif
