b0z0 did you get your monitor yesterday? What are your first impressions?
I managed to get a refurb from BenQ. Just waiting for it to get over here in Korea. should be here early next week if I'm lucky.

I'll see if I can get it to push past 120hz.

hi, has anyone try to remove the bezel from these monitors?is it possible?
My first impressions of the monitor drool.gif. It's so smooth while gaming. I'll try to get pictures of the monitor when I get home. I've been swamped at work, so I only had roughly an hour or two to mess with it.

I heartily recommend enabling any of the gaming profiles and setting black eQ to 0 in games that could use some color saturation. Skyrim and BF3 benefit from it for sure.

Yes, that's just by changing monitor profile. The left is a profile decently calibrated for color accuracy. I picked a spot that shows it well though, it's not always that obvious.

I got the XL2420T last week, love the monitor. Anyone have a CRT to compare it to for input lag? I threw out my CRT can't test.

the stand is AWESOME and I love that you can place the remote on the left side also, as I use a MASSIVE mouse pad on the right lol

You know I got mine last week and I thought the same thing. Now sure many people have the ballz to rip apart a brand new $400+ monitor to find out.lol If you dont care about the warranty then try it out and see. I know another member did it to 3 Samsung 23" 120hz panels and it worked well for him. those are the same price range.

side not, i do not notice any big differnece in performance or smoothness. I play BF3 mainly and it looks and feels the same to me for some reason. I checked and it is running at 120. I do not notice better input lag either. I think my Asus 248h's are already pretty good in the input lag area so if this monitor is barely better I wouldnt notice I guess unless I came from and IPS panel or a really cheap TN.

I do not know if anyone else noticed this but with 3 monitors hooked up and running in extended desktop mode I can not go into CCC and adjust anything color or even brightness wise at all. I have to disable the other 2 monitors then it will still only let me adjust brightness and contrast only. I can however adjust everything about my ASUS monitors when in extended or eyefinity mode.

sadly, this monitor doesn't have vesa mounting beneath the plastic case. The vesa holes is on the plastic case. I have to find out if it still possible to mount the monitor using 3M scotch 4010 mounting tape
