So I'm getting a DSLR

I want to know if the swivel screen on the t3i is worth the extra $100 over the t2i?

Thanks!

I personally don't think it is, but I could see it being useful if you frequently shoot video or take shots at extremely low or high angles often.

Beyond a couple little things there isn't a big difference between the two correct?

The swivel screen, wireless flash control and some minor cosmetic differences are about it.

lol patience. you will be happy with either one but yea the swivel screen is really just cosmetic just lay on the ground if you shoot low angles smile.gif

Swivel screen is nice for a couple of reasons (as laid out above) - tripod, screen facing you, closing the screen when the bag is in transit, etc. It's really up to you whether or not it's worth $100 extra, or if you want to spend the $100 on other stuff. Personally, I can live without the swivel screen, but that's just me.
