Yes, WOWZERS, that is an ungodly amount of QPI!!

Can you please upload a SPD dump for us to verify this, I can't believe they would set that amount in XMP, so I'd like to see this myself! Thanks, here use this to dump the SPD
http://www.techpowerup.com/spdtool/SPDTool_063.zip

I've only ever used above 1.65 with the frozen CPU's (-74C), there I've ran 1.7-1.8 a time or two, but even then that much is very scary biggrin.gif

For daily air/water use I'd keep it under 1.45 or so as Redhat_ownage mentioned, and I'd really only use that if on water. Running 1.5 or a bit above on water is semi-acceptable for shorter benching sessions, if you are not too concerned with the lifespan of your CPU, but I wouldn't run 1.5+ for any extended periods of time, and I definitely would NEVER run above 1.6 for any period of time unless the CPU is frozen.

Yes well all that makes me a little nervous about my CPU now. lol. How do i so an SPD dump???
Now i have the ram running at 1804mhz with QPI at 1.45volts. I have done a mem check on all 3 sticks individually as Corsair suggested and they all did 3 passes with no errors. i just did a memory bench mark and got these results.....

286

Also can u tell me how to tune my ram properly?? I have read a little about ram overclocking, but is the idea to get the timings as low as possible with the least amount of voltage???
