G.Skill F2-8000 PHU2 Advice

I could use some advice on settings for this memory used in the P5B Dlx w/E6400. At first blush, this 1000Mhz memory appears to be less stable then the Corsair 800Mhz. I have already learned not to use SPD. Currently @4-4-4-5. I have had stability issues over 350FSB. The corsair was stable as a rock at 400FSB. I may have confounded the issue by updating the BIOS to 0711.
