Uped to 4.06 ghz and still getting no higher than 65% on both gpus, might as well do single 460, get like 3 fps gain with sli.

WTH am I forced to get intel!?!?!

again on medium setttings, with 4af and everything else OFF, and vsync off, on big maps getting 55 fps!

THIS is what sli 460s and a quad core can do? THIS??

Um, those settings are not stressing your setup (GPU enough) at all.

Try adding post processing to high, AF to x16 (Anisotropic filtering can be handled at max even with just a single card), and turning everything to ultra except for textures.

If that's not increasing your GPU usage then I suggest you look into the NV profiles for CF and figure out which one works best for you.

You should be seeing 90%+ usage on that setup, even with a 965. No matter what other people like to tell you, this game is more GPU bound than CPU, by far.

Something is not right. Have you made sure that your CPU is not being fully used? What about RAM usage? 460 SLI can do pretty well for its self, The only time my FPS dips hard is if I'm sniping on something like caspian border.

EDIT: Have you used the HWinfo64 rivatuner port? you might have to up the polling of the program to keep a "real time" feel.

UHm I tried that many times, on ultra getting 25 fps, YES SLI IS ENABLED, and get no higher than 75% usage...

WHY????

thats not the problem here, mate. I alt tab and look at the usage, doesn't matter if I see it once every 2 sec or 0.01, still not high enough

STILL, who cares about the usage, why is my FPS REALLY REALLY REALLY LOW????

wth

some are saying some of the new drivers made the usage go down. Maybe if I downgrade drivers, will help??

Also if the usage went from 60% on both to 90+, would it REALLY improve fps?

maybe win vista? no

Maybe the Phenom architecture is holding you back. My 460s SLI setup coupled with 4.5Ghz 2500k never drops below 90% gpu usage in BF3 (1920x1200). Only drawback is the 1GB VRAM limit which sometimes causes sudden fps drops at ultra settings (run smooth as butter at high settings), but gpu usage for both cards are still >90% with vsync off. With vsync on, gpu usage for both card fluctuates at around 60-70%.

And why don't you OC the Asus 460 a liitle more to match the Hawk's clock instead of lowering the Hawk down?

idk if the usage is low because the cpu is slow, if I oc the gpu, wouldn't it make the usage even lower.

I did going from both 675 to 775 and went from 75 to 78 fps.

I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW.

Happy i got my gpu and everything, then played and had little improvement, not enough to even up 2 settings.
