Playing a game switches my screen to blank for some reason, help

post #1 of 4

When I open up a game, my screen switches to standby and I can hear the game running in the background

Plus, pressing the windows key or ctrl+alt+delete does not break it either, almost as if it is switching the video output to something that isn't there :s

Could be an issue with the display adapter, or a simple GPU driver issue. Have you tried an uninstall of your GPU drivers and the latest versions? If on latest now, have you tried a rollback?

You are not specifics of the drivers version and the game. See if you can find the fix here;
