Windows 7 mouse random skipping

In games it doesn't matter which my mouse randomly does 360's or will jump to a different location. My mouse is an MX518@500hz, I've also tested different mice (wmo, deathadder, mx300) and they are all plagued by this. It has to be a Windows 7 problem. Here is some stuff I ruled out:

- Tried multiple mousepads/mice
- Have tried multiple accel fixes, even the default windows 7
- Enhance EPP on and off
- Tried different USB ports
- No other USB device is plugged in besides keyboard

On my Windows XP dual boot the mouse is perfect without any interruption. I uploaded a quick video, at the end you will notice my mouse randomly turns around. It looks as though I move it, but my aim is at the shock ball. It automatically turned by itself. This happens quite frequently and has plagued me since I can remember. Video

Try this:

Windows key>Ease of access center>Make the mouse easier to use>Set up mouse keys>Pointer speed. Now move the acceleration at FAST and Top Speed at middle.See if that helps.

Thanks for your suggestion, just tried doing that and it's still the same.

It might be related to the video card.Try uninstalling your video card drivers and reinstall the latest official drivers.

To make sure that you deleted all the files of the driver, run Driver Sweeper .

Also,if you use Pointer Trails you should disable it.

I forgot to mention I reinstalled video card drivers, and pointer trails isn't enabled. I'm thinking about just buying a pci usb card in hopes of solving this. I thought it might have something to do with overclocking the usb port, but when I set it back to 125hz it still does the same thing.

I would try ( if you haven't already ) uninstalling the driver and then reinstalling it ( including setpoint)............. here's a link to setpoint for win7 64-bit
