Thread Starter
Anyone uses them? Whats the best one for connecting to a wireless network? I want a USB one because my existing one has to take up its own power supply.

My mom has one, its Netgear and it works great. Most USB ones are plug and play unlike the PCI card ones so its much easier.

I found this on newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833320010

Asus is a trusted name and its supposed to have good range

If you want something cheap then look at this.

Hope one of these help.

Ravicus

Edit:
Oh, did you mean a key or just one that sucks power from a usb drive?

If you want a larger one with better reception try this

I use this one personally and I get 54 mbps constantly.

I have this zonet:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833130111

And it is fantastic. It gets alot better signal strength then the DLink PCI adapter I had before. Has NEVER dropped and always connects every time. The DLink would connect for a few minutes then drop then not reconnect unless I rebooted.

**Edit**
I never tried the driver cd, but they say the driver on the cd doesn't work, but you can dload it from zonet its a small file and the dload definately works, I dloaded the driver after I ordered and never tried the cd

I ordered a USB Wireless Adapter for my cousin a while ago. They work fine and operate just like the integrated ones. Search on sites and read the reviews before buying. Not a very picky thing

Best USB devices I encounter are the linksys usb adapters... Just not the compact adapters... those kinda suck.
