On HW Monitor under Temperatures it has AUXTIN listed at the bottom. The temperature will linger at 85-86C then all the sudden jump up to 106-107C. I don't know what AUXTIN is reading, but that temperature can't be good. I am hoping it is a simple bug such as it is not reading it cause it is not actually there or the program is bugged. Anyway, does anyone know what this AUXTIN temperature is?

My MOBO is ASRock Extreme 3 R.2
CPU: AMD 965 OC to 3.6 via UEFI.

Could it be the fact that I OC'ed my CPU? Just seeking any answer cause like I said, that temp seems rather hot to me.

AUXTIN should be the outer temp of case temp. not sure why HWM would read 100*C, maybe try touching the heatsinks around your board, if its really hot then you might want to see if cooling them down changes this AUXTIN

Thanks for the fast reply. I am not sure why it is reading that temp either. The case is perfectly cool, inside and out and all the components are warm to the touch but not anything extreme. I am going to guess it is a bug with HWM.

wouldnt be the first bug with HWM. but you got to hand it to them, for a freeware monitoring program it is the best.
