Can you be more specific? Maybe it is asking you to build a building that you can't build on the current island due to lacking the required fertility/ or raw material. You have to go colonize other islands and establish trade/transfer routes with your main town/island.

For everyone having issues with steam. Just bought the game this morning for my sister as a gift and she got it working after trying three times so I recommend you guys give it another try. They might have gotten it fixed.

Steam support gave me a generic reply, still nothing. No time frame yet. I'm wondering will I ever be able to play this game.

It's pretty messed up that you managed to get a key and I who bought the game before you didn't. I guess steam just does not like me frown.gif

Edit: at least they decided to put up a notice on the store page "Notice: We are currently out of keys for Anno 2070. If you purchase Anno 2070 this weekend, we will deliver your key on Monday, March 19th." I'm glad this is finally over with.
