same? Not quite. Similar

The Naos however has it properly implemented. The G500 does not.

Same deal with the Deathadder, Abyssus, and diamondback 3G. All use the same sensor, but the abyssus's tracking is almost worthless and the DB 3G is just OK, yet the Deathadder is widely considered to have one of the very best "sensors" of any mouse, ever.

Remember, the physical sensor alone does not determine what light source will be used, what lens, the distance from the surface, the aperture size/shape, the PCB used to control it, or the drivers which interpret all that into movement on your screen.

People just tend to clump all those factors into the term of "sensor" when saying how good the sensor on a mouse is compared to another - so in that respect the Naos has a much better sensor.

One reaches 5670 CPI while the other just 5040CPI.

Nope.

S9500 is logitech.

30x30 cmos @ 13333~ fps
5700 CPI in 100 step size.

A9500
30x30 cmos @ 11750/12000 fps
5670/5040 CPI in 90 step size.
