It really helps when you filling your loop to use the pump to fill the system (assuming you have the 24 pin motherboard jumped in order to test your system) rathan than hand filling/tilting the case. Using this method my system is completely bled off within 1 day.

didn't realise anyone fill their system that way lol. Na I used duel DCC-1 pumps, I have a massive loop and i have had the system leak test going for over 24h however when i depressurise my Res I still get a few bubbles i assume that you can't run the loop with the res open....redface.gif

Yea with 3 blocks on a single loop its much easier to fill the res, turn on the pump, then repeat until filled. That ensures water goes to the harder reach passages, so there's minimal amount of air left in the system. Then i run it with the res open for 1-2 days. Final result = 0 air bubbles thumb.gif

Ok so I take it you can run a loop with the res open........ thought that water would just splash out of the res due to the pressure of the pumps TY

So i spent the last 10min with the Res open nothing..... close it and I get a whole lot of bubbles??? Makes little sense to me, clearly somehow once I re-pressurise the loop air is displaces... I don't think it's the rads at the to since I've held the case with the pumps on at an angle (>45%) which i would have thought would have push any air left out of there surge chamber's anyone have any idea what's going on or another method i should try!

^^^^ concur

i have a single loop 360 with cpu, gpu, and nb blocks. filled the rad and cycled the pump on and off until filled. it took at 2 days solid of leak testing to remove all air bubbles. in that time i tilted the case front/back and side/side maybe a dozen times or so. with a little patience they will come out
