if you've messed with the memory settings, it's probably that which is stopping it from booting. Just to make sure you cleared the BIOS properly :-

1. Remove the power lead.
2. Press the power button on the PC to kill any residual power in the PSU
3 Remove the cmos jumper (its next to the SATA ports.) (don't just move it to pins 2-3, on your board, that only resets the BIOS passwords, not the stored data)
4. wait 30 seconds
5. plug in the power, and power up the machine.
6. if it boots, go into the BIOS. Shut down the machine.
7. Replace the jumper on the motherboard.
8. Reboot, go into the BIOS, and redo all your settings.

If that fails, Try just one memory chip fitted in the motherboard. this MUST be installed in slot 0 (the one nearest the processor) or the Board may not boot. If it fails to boot, remove this chip, and try your other one, in the same slot.

If there is still no sign of life after this, post back, and i'll see if I can think of anything else.

Oh, and just double check your 24 pin power connector, and 4-pin processor power connector are fully inserted.

Hope this helps

YAY! I'm glad you got it to live again! I hope you have some luck overclocking with the utility Schmuckley mentioned - I don't think there is much else you can do with a stock intel board. The BIOS's are so damn limiting. Dells are bad for it too - as are most manufacturer ones with custom BIOS's. Next time you get a PC go for one with a decent board like gigabyte, or asus or something. They are far more customisable. Anyway, best of luck. smile.gif

If you have access to the CPU's Voltage then please dont mess much with that. You only really need to increase the voltage if you get blue screen of deaths.
