I normaly build amd rigs but consider myself 'nuteral' and willing to consider intel. Im wondering what info we have on ivys replacments- haswell and latter the die shruk broadwell. Ive read the mainstream socket will be lga 1150 incompatable with any chip today but ive been unable to find any info on the -e socket. Will it continue to use lga 2011? I found out that 2011 is scaleabkecup to ten cores, but none on weather it will work with generations beyond ivy. Also, will these chips hit the streets the same time as amds steamroller?

Given that IB isn't even out yet, there's not a lot of information out there that is concrete on Haswell, but there is some: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haswell_(microarchitecture)

Already read that. Thanks anyway. Broadwell 14nm? I wonder how long that will take to get to production levels, considering its taking an awful long time to start 22nm
