Is this PSU powerful enough?

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am planning on building my own pc, so far I have got the following parts:
NZXT Phantom Case
8GB Ram 1333Mhz
Thermaltake TR2 700w

I will be getting:
i5 2500k
Asus P8Z68-V LX
HD 6970
1TB Internal Hard Drive
DVD Drive

Will the Thermaltake TR2 700w be powerful enough for a HD 6970 and a i5 2500k@4.1GHz or above?
Also will the Asus P8Z68-V LX and PSU and graphics card be compatible, I saw on a forum that the P8Z68-V LX doesn't support the HD 6970?

It should be able to run that hardware and those specs. I am not sure about the compatibility of the 6970 to that board, sorry.

explain, cuz i too will be getting a new mobo in the next couple months. since when are mobo's not compatable with gpu's?

I was just uncertain, I hadn't seen a HD 6970 on a P8Z68-V LX before.
