I'm gonna be honest, I never had a chance to play Shenmue, but I hear so many great things about the game. If it comes to XBLA, then I might actually shell out some MSpoints/cash for it.

That was the pinnacle of Dreamcast gaming, I have many fond memories of the sun setting, it's summer, fresh air coming through the window, the neighborhood is silent and I can focus on the game, I'd go to the park at the beginning and just listen to the music.

I have other memories like that of the second game where you had to scrub down a temple but the beautiful ambience in the game and in real life kept me immersed.

Here's the song I'm talking about, from the first Shenmue.

I'm absolutely going to pay whatever the price is.

Though it's likely it won't get real 16:9 treatment, it will maintain the 4:3 ratio and have black bars on the left and right side which is still better than stretching a 4:3 picture to 16:9.

I'm fully prepared to be slightly underwhelmed at first since it is a 12 year old game and things have changed since then, but, I'll still absolutely enjoy it.

It's probably dead,

In a recent interview with some special person at Sega *I don't know the name* it was said that Sega has officially killed all current projects except for five games which were named and the top 3 requested Dreamcast ports were not mentioned, which makes me wonder if the Jet Set Radio HD port was delayed or scrapped which apparently was almost done.

But, that doesn't mean Sega didn't change their minds 5 minutes later, if it'll make money then they'll keep releasing ports.
