I'm not disagreeing with psyclum. I agree 100% with him but only in regards to spraying the fan improperly. If you know how to apply spray paint with excellent skill & technique (it takes practice), you will not overspray the fan and you will not have splotches. Once again, it's all about skill & technique + some patience. smile.gif

Don't get me wrong drBlahMan I agree with both posts. Both of you guys opinion is correct and it is up to the OP if he wants to proceed with painting the fans. The results can be poor without utilizing the correct techniques you have mentioned. Thus, I was just acknowledging psyclum's statement that fan performance could be adversely affected.

I painted 4 AP-15s with Rust-Oleum vinyl & fabric spray paint. No issues in the year they have been running.

Just have to make sure you spray light and evenly.
