Im kind of new to OCing. I just wan't to know if i did it right.
My default GTX 460M GPU is:
Core Clock-675
Shade Clock-1350
memory Clock-1250

When i OCed it using msi burner i got
Core Clock-800
Shade Clock-1600
memory Clock-1500

I Used Furmark as a benchmark.
I ran it for 15 minutes, the highest temperature was 92c.
so did I OCed it right?

I'm typing this on a G73 with the 460m and all I can so is leave that thing alone. It gets really hot and the OC does not really get you much. Thats nearing 100, which is imo way too high.

Plus, the 460m plays just about everything you throw at it, hell I'm in the process of finishing ME3, 10 hours in so far and not a single slowdown.

I'm Only OCing to see if i can get 30 fps on BF3 ultra.
So you recommend to leave it alone. Note*** Im also playing ME3 and I get 60 fps without doing any OC-ing.
My average GPU temp is 72c. Is that a good temp for The GPU.

That's a good temp, mine gets to around 80 after half an hour or so. I looked into overclocking the 460m when I got this laptop, but the truth is that there is not much to be gained due to the design limits. You can go to notebookreview and look up the technicals if you wanted. I certainly will not OC for just 5-10 FPS gain, the added heat is just not worth it to me.
