I found a Canon Elph 300 HS for $88, should i get it?

I was browsing around my local sears and they have cameras on clearance and I found a display model Canon Elph 300 HS for $88. I asked the employee if i could see camera and when i examined it, i noticed that the lens has some residue on it. I know it should be a red flag right away that but at the same time i do have lens cleaner at home i could use to clean it. Do you guys think it would be worth getting the camera for $88 and cleaning the lens or should i just avoid it all together? The 30 day return policy also applies to clearance items.

its not a bad deal assuming it properly works. i say give a once more look to make sure it looks good and get it. if its in great condition its basically half off on a pretty decent P&S. i dont know much about P&S but my mom has the same camera and it works pretty well. i have never used it extensively. i would also wait for a more knowledgeable person from OCN photo to give their 2 cents on your situation.

It's a decent camera and with CHDK you can unlock some extra features, full manual controls and RAW.
