dfi lanparty dk x48-t2rs issues

I've had this motherboard for quite some time but I didn't have a compatible CPU for it so its been shelved for quite some time. Recently my friend needed a cheap gaming computer so I got a E7500 processor and a new graphics card to make it work. At first I couldn't get it to boot but once I manually set the RAM timings it worked fine. A couple days ago I come downstairs to check my email and the computer is looping but wont boot into windows. I shut it down and when I turn it back on I get a black screen and a C1-01 error from the motherboard. After messing with it for hours I still couldn't get it to work and thinking it was the RAM I drove halfway across town to pick some up so my friend could take the computer with him before he left after spring break. Wouldn't you know it even with the new RAM it still wouldn't boot. However if I reset the CMOS and without tweaking anything in the bios I could get it to boot into XP but only in safe mode. I tried changing the RAM timings, changing the RAM, and changing the CMOS battery. The only two things I can think of are the motherboard and the CPU. I did overclock the CPU from 2.93 to 3.3 but that's not that radical of an OC for that CPU and I didn't even do any big voltage tweaks on it either. Could it be the motherboard that's causing these problems?

Well it sounds like the motherboard is on the way out. I would maybe try flashing the bios to the latest available and give it another go. You can find it on http://dfi.com.tw and on the bottom right, LanParty Support and Download.

Just flashed the bios but it still won't boot into windows. I might try reinstalling it but I'm not sure that will fix the issue but its worth a shot
