Datacenter Connection in Business Residence?

Thread Starter
I was just wondering is this even possible? We are moving to a bigger suite in a few months and a friend and I want to rent out the old suite and turn it into a minor datacenter filled with top of the line servers for sale.

Everything seems to work out fine, but we can't figure out where to get anything more than a FIOS connection which has a max of 35 MBPs.

Just curious if anyone here has any experience with anything like that?

Thanks for the helpful replies. +Rep.

I will look into those options, business lines for 10MB here (fiber, not datacenter type) is not that expensive, but we can probably work out the costs.

yes you can get a larger connection into the location, however the costs could quickly raise.
Check out Megapath.com, they are 50% less expensive than Verizon on all the circuits i have which include 4 - T1's for 6 mbps and 1 DS3 for 45mbps
The cost for me on the 6mb is about $500/month and the DS3 is about $1500/month

Anythings possible for the right price, and I can tell you that price will be very very high like stated already

Also search around for a leased line, T1, DS3, OC12 all that

They aren't that expensive.

I have a fibre business line that is dedicated 100Mbps and it's about $130 a month.

I use my home fibre as my failover. That's about $79 a month for 70Mbps.
