Decided I didnt want to tear my loop down to watercool my 470s(going to wait until I get me new single card). So I decided to do "The Mod"
Instead of zip ties I lasered out a bracket at work. It uses the same design as the stock bracket with the cut out notches and you insert it and twist the pump. For the bolts I used the ones that came out of the stock heatsink, they are the same thread as the mounting holes one the corners of the chip so I was able to use those holes and didnt have to drill back through anything so I can put the stock heatsink back on anytime and you would never know.
Its held on very tight and I am very pleased with the results, max temperature before was 80c now 49c. Now its time to order one for the other 470.
