i want to have the most perfect rig i can build. my goal is to keep it under 3 grand with a dx10 card next month lets see what i have came up with and give me some suggestions

10 second boot time is something i would love thats why i have chosen the iram

also i got the retail xp because i dont wana have to call up microsoft all the time -_- besides im a bad liar

basicaly the small hd im gonna use for mirroring the i-ram to and then the 320 gig for storage

Looks like a helluva system, but I think you can get Xp Pro for like $140... on Newegg...

Lots of great stuff there.
The only oddity is why people get the Thunderblades, they utilize sleeves vs the prefered ball bearing or hydro wave. Sleeve units are known to have shorter life spans.

hmr. any ideas of a fan with great cfm, low db and price?

i almost went with the silenX fans.. but price was high....

High CFM + Low Noise + pretty lights. They're like $10, who cares if they last 2 years instead of 5?

Edit: A great fan is the Silverstone FM121. 110CFM, 40 dBA, $15.

Ya the OEM version is only 139. Thats what I got. I love it!


edit: I just checked out his link for the OS.....new egg is giving away an OEM version of Vista with purchase of the xp pro. Cool!
